New Industries

One of the recent additions are the Central Illinois Oil and FS Fertilizer just south of Springfield. A subtle detail, but typical of country roads through the 1950s, is the one-lane paved road with wide gravel shoulders for vehicles to pass. Many one-lane roads still exist around this area and other locations.
